"Be Imitators of God"

According to the above verses, what is God's standard for us to live by? Ephesians 5:1-2 states that we should be imitators of God. In a world full of worldliness, it is hard to live a life that is pleasing to God--especially in our culture which is continually trying to slowly conform us to worldliness through movies, music, other media, books, etc. Even though pressure, (especially peer pressure), makes it extremely difficult to continue living for God by making right choices, we should stand firm in our convictions. Although others may disagree or look down on you for your decisions, that really doesn't matter, because, what God thinks of you is what matters most! Romans 8:31: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
